“Ellie”
should excel in Eventing and Dressage. She has the "look at me" attitude that has
made her dam and sister so successful in the show ring, with the
movement and conformation to back up her opinion of herself. This is
a striking filly that will be noticed in the ring regardless of
discipline, whether she is under saddle or in hand. Her gaits are
large with suspension and thrust from behind. All 3 gaits are uphill
and she shows a natural tendency for "sit" and performs flying
changes, pirouettes and the like naturally in the field. At just 2
1/2 months old, "Ellie" attended her first show. She loaded on the
trailer and hauled with the show grounds like she had been doing it
all her life. While at the show she demanded to be the center of
attention from all that came near her stall or in the arena. She was
2nd in her class and received good marks and comments from the judge
(Jos Severiens) at the show, including: "Good feminine
type/expression, well balanced and proportional. Tracks well from
behind. Shows good reach in trot. Good dressage prospect." There are
VERY FEW Oskar fillies in the world - Oskar was not bred very much
while Hoken owned him as he concentrated on the performance aspect.
There are only 17 registered fillies with the ATA at this time, very
few of which are for sale. Oskar is also the only Hockey stallion in
the US at this time. This is an amazing opportunity for someone to
own a daughter with these very rare and treasured bloodlines. |

Ellie's full sister, Emerald Fire, was recently named the ATA's 3 yo
HOY for fillies, was the winner of the In Hand Futurity for 3 yo
(against fillies and colts/geldings), was Grand Champion of the
Mare/Foal Show at the ATA Convention (judged by the Verband's Breed
Director with the remark that she is what the breed should be
breeding for), as well as Reserve Champion of the Mare Inspection at
the Convention (tied with the Grand Champion who was a 7 yo mare) -
with high scores including a "9" for type. Emerald Fire was also the
2008 Yearling Filly USDF HOY as well as winning ATA’s HOY in hand
every year with scores in the upper 70’s to low 80’s. Ellie shows
promise that she will fill her big sisters shoes easily and will
have the same sort of successes in the show ring.
